What blockchain do myStake Utilise?

myStake runs a private Ethereum blockchain in order to enable greater provision of privacy as well as to meet regulatory requirements around the issuance of securities. All issued tokens conform to the ERC-20 standard. All smart contracts, tokens, and blockchain is fully interoperable with the public Ethereum blockchain.

How does myStake handle private data?

All private data is encrypted and no private data is stored on the myStake Ethereum blockchain

No data is shared outside of the company whose register the data belongs.

How does myStake handle security?

myStake, by default, uses 2-factor authentication for all users. All changes to individual and company profiles are immediately communicated by in-app notifications and via email. All information is controlled by the company, myStake cannot make changes without approval by the Company Secretary and/or Director.

Whats myStake approach to GDPR?

myStake supports right-to-forget and only information as required by Companies House is required for operation of the platform. No private data is stored on-chain. Should a company wish to have its data removed, myStake will immediately delete all references to the company and its shareholders off its platform.

Will I be able to sell my shares on myStake?

Companies can choose to enable the internal trading hub whereupon shareholders can put up their shares for sale to other shareholders or those sophisticated investors who have been invited into the internal trading venue. These transactions must be approved by the company before being able to proceed. The sales of shares is done on an "offer" basis, with no guarantee of liquidity.
