CellarHub Ltd is a UK based Technology Company founded in 2020. The directors personally founded the development of the product. The rights to the developed product have been assigned to the company as per the agreement attached in the document section.

The Technology

CellarHub has taken proven technology and enhanced its performance.

The technology behind CellarHub owes its origins to the Oil Industry, where similar technology keeps drilling rigs lines clear of biomass. The engineering team at CellarHub has spent over two years enhancing and redeveloping the science behind this system and re-engineering this proven product. The system has now been through many months of testing and real-time usage. As a result, CellarHub can now confidently claim to reduce the cleaning process from a costly weekly chore to an estimated 10-12+week cycle. This is a significant leap forward compared to other systems on the market and should deliver substantial savings to the industry.

The CellarHub system works by using inductive field technology to introduce an electromagnetic resonance field into the entire length of the beer line from the keg to the beer taps (fonts). This field is made up of precise pseudo-random modulated frequencies. The effect of this field is to inhibit the deterioration of the product by slowing down the yeast clumping and bacteria growth, thus enabling the lines to be kept free from harmful contaminants for a far more extended period.

The product's signal generator unit, a box which measures 6ins x 6ins, sits on a cellar wall and is connected to a standard plug electric power supply. There is a direct connection from the Hub to every line in any establishment where draught beer, lager, stout and ales are served. The technological makeup of the circuitry within the box is nevertheless complex and novel to CellarHub. Devised by the company's innovative technology team, it is a dramatic improvement on the existing science. The product has an expected lifetime of at least seven years and more likely 10+ years. At just five years of use, each unit should produce an estimated ROI of between 24-52 times, depending on the size of the venue where it is deployed.

A weekly beer line cleaning process  (the recommended frequency of line cleaning to keep beer at optimum levels) costs for a small to average pub with ten lines (fonts) and a 3-pint line length around an estimated £8,000 per annum. • The product passively fits on any existing cellar set-up. As such, it will not affect or damage any cellar equipment or invalidate any cellar equipment agreement that a venue may have with its supplier.
• CellarHub will be offered under a service contract on a monthly basis and will be installed free of charge. Prices will start at £120 per month. However, our technical director is already developing a smaller unit that will suit venues with just 2-3 fonts for an even lower monthly fee.
• The market size is approximately 120,000 venues. We have targeted only a 6.5 % market penetration by year 5, though we will be aiming at a much higher level.
• In terms of what we could save the industry, if every venue in the market switched to CellarHub, based on a typical establishment of 10 fonts and 3-pint lines, Each year we could:
• Potentially save £700,000,000 in costs associated with line cleaning.
• Potentially save187,000,000 pints of beer from being wasted. 
• Potentially save over 8 million staffing hours required in the line cleaning process.
• Potentially stop 4+ million litres of highly toxic beer line cleaner from entering the country's water systems.
• Potentially save over 500 million litres of water.

Note that some venues have 50+ fonts - one venue we have been in talks with has 87 beer fonts. These numbers are rough estimates. 

Current Status

The CellarHub product is currently is in use and on trial at various locations. The directors have put forward proposals to a number of leading pub chains.
