We believe JiveBird has no direct competitors as no other greetings company offers this complete personal greetings package, including tens of thousands of well-known and international songs to choose from PLUS the superb JiveBird ‘digital memory’ package and eGift. Music is very personal and there is a song for every occasion, when it may be difficult to find the right card. JiveBird has created new technology, wholly owned by the company, by the integration of telecommunications, html and app technology. The JiveBird product (via a Smartphone, Tablet App - IOS or Android - or via a PC or Laptop) has been built by a dedicated team of developers. We were successful in claiming R&D tax credits for our innovative technology through a 3rd party specialist agency.

Team

Above all, the Founders have assembled a team of what we consider to be world class experts in business, marketing (including media and social network campaigns), brand, PR, sales, IT development, telecommunications, finance, strategy and investment. Together this team has developed the product, tested it and raised seed investment. This has been achieved through equity and contingency deals, initial seed investment and partnerships with companies including Xiatech, Cravens, Boodle Hatfield, Diggecard, Danilo Cards and Vonage. The company remains cash positive.

Round 5 Investment

The current Round 5 investment is projected to deliver a substantial ROI. These projections only include revenue from standard JiveBirds and eGifts, in the UK only. Additional revenue from overseas, corporate, on-pack, white label, karaoke, impersonations etc are not included.

This Round 5 investment through Crowd for Angels and other sources is for up to an additional £200,000 at a valuation of £4.4m and benefits from EIS. JiveBird previously raised £150,000 in earlier Seed Rounds valued at £3m and £3.5m and has already raised £210,000 in Round 5.
