CommSOFT's focus is technology to assist human communication. The global market in language services is valued at around $30-34bn a year and CommSOFT's Language AssistantTM product suite addresses a section of this market. Our research indicates that the total addressable market value for Language AssistantTM is around $1095m USD (£775m).
Many organisations such as police forces, the NHS and Border Force (to name but a few UK examples) often interact with people who do not speak the "local language" (English, in the UK) but cannot use "computer translation" systems as these are notoriously inaccurate and unsuitable for 'professional' use.
CommSOFT's Language AssistantTM products provide a solution to this by allowing organisations to automate common conversations and then deliver these conversations between any languages, using real, human-done, certified translations that provide the level of accuracy and security usually only achievable using expensive interpreters, but at a fraction of the cost - typically 70% less expensively. Conversation durations are also reduced, resulting in reduced staff costs.

Accomplishments to date include: full development of core technology; initial marketing in one sub-sector; establishment of initial early-adopter "lighthouse" customers; recognition by customers and trade press as a "national first".
The overall business-model is to charge annual, recurring license-fees for use of the products, which may be delivered in one of many formats (an MS WindowsTM application; an AndroidTM mobile App; and a SaaS ("software-as-a-service") cloud-based service.
