We have built a platform where Poker players and Backers are able to meet, discuss deals and get Backed for live and online poker tournaments. The website consists of;
♠ Custom profile pages. Users can register and create a custom profile page this allows either Pro or Backer to view each other's profiles, view historical data and start communicating.
♠ A Payment solution called RiverPay. Once a Backer and Pro have agreed on a deal, they can use RiverPay, which means we will hold and escrow the funds.
♠ Affiliate partnerships. We have agreed on deals with leading Poker, Casino, and betting sites, earning a commission from play for all the players that click through and start playing.
The culture of people 'backing' poker players have been around for many decades. We plan to automate this process and eliminate the element of doubt and distrust. Currently, when people 'Back' a poker player the deals are often done in shady poker rooms and casinos, the 'backer' has no legal stand should the player decide not to honour the agreement.
BackthePros.com allows 'Backers' from around the world to Back poker players (Pros) from the comfort of their home and with the click of a button. All transactions and payouts are done through us and everything is automated ensuring Pros and Backers never have to meet, get into disputes, or worry about any conflict.

The banner at the top is non-customisable by users and is used to either sell advertising space or an affiliate link.
Below that are sections where players can describe themselves, write about their achievements, state how many years they have been playing, and what tournaments they would like to get Backed for.
We also have a section called Tracking Data. This allows players to enter their online playing usernames, and Backers can click ‘view’ and get a detailed description of all their past playing history. For this section we are using a third party tracking software called SharkScope, however, it is completely white-labelled and customised to represent our own.

We have decided to keep this simple as there is less information required from a Backer.
This page allows for the Backer to write a description about themselves, how many people they have backed, and the level of investment they are willing to make through our platform.

The overall Objectives and business theme of BackThePros are:
1. Change the Poker Backing industry and establish ourselves as a pioneering and innovative poker investment company.
2. Constantly develop new technology complimented by amazing design and branding interface.
3. Create an eco-system which allows users to get backed, play poker, back a player all in one place.
♠ Mapping the concept end to end. Understanding the model from software capabilities, infrastructure, usability, user experience, functionality, viability and payment solutions.
♠ Securing domain, developing brand, design and theme.

♠ Third party analytical software integration.
♠ Partnership with affiliate sites agreed and running.
♠ A back end affiliate software integrated, allowing customers to become affiliates for us.

Our main source of revenue is to charge a yearly subscription or a lifetime subscription fee to Pros only, not Backers. Users can also create a profile for free, allowing us to capture their email addresses, however, free accounts are not visible to Backers, nor are free account players able to connect with Bakers.
Once a Pro has selected a standard or lifetime subscription, they are presented with some Add-on options. For $10 they can have their profile set as a feature profile, they can be featured in an email blast, or purchase 12 nudges for $10. This allows us to upsell and increase our revenue from each paying subscriber.
When a user has paid a subscription fee they are allocated a certain amount of nudges. Once they have used those nudge they can purchase more nudges as per our pricing option below. Pros can only connect with Backers by nudging them, and so this provides a good opportunity for ongoing revenue. Backers pay nothing to connect with Pros.
Our other source of revenue is that we are an affiliate for 15 Poker, casino and sports betting websites. When users click through the below links we earn commission from their play ranging from 30% -60% depending on the website. We have all the affiliate accounts set-up and running.
Currently, around the world there are millions of poker players sitting idly-by not able to play Poker due to lack of funds but want the opportunity to prove themselves and generate an income. Most of these players are unemployed, have a lot of time on their hands, have the skill and patience to play long lasting poker tournaments.
We aim to target this group of poker players but are open to everyone whether they have funds to play or not. everybody likes to play without risking their own money!
♠ Poker has experienced a supersonic boom over the last decade and has become a phenomenon. Online poker has become an industry in itself and the game is estimated to be played by over 300 million people around the world.
♠ The largest poker site in the world PokerStars was acquired by a Canadian company for $4.9 billion.
♠ Online Poker is played in almost every country in the world and televised events attract an impressive audience.
♠ The largest 'live' poker tournament is called The world series of Poker and attracts around 6000 players paying $10,000 each with a first place prize of around $8,000,000, the largest prize in any form of sporting event.
♠ The poker industry has proven to be recession proof thriving through both the dot com crash and 2008 crash.
♠ PartyPoker.com went public in 2006 for $9 billion.
♠ Online Poker has made many people millionaires and created a full-time income for much more.
