VideoGram

Sending greeting cards online has proven to be very successful with companies such as Moonpig and Funky Pigeon reporting record sales. The concept they use is fairly outdated and 1 dimensional; VideoGram adds video to this concept both in printed traditional cards (at the same price as Moonpig cards) and a VideoGram card. All the technology and concept has been created by us from scratch and believe we can be the next big player in this Industry.

CrowdMyGift

Plans to penetrate the billion dollar crowdgifting market which is set to explode over the next few years. This platform lets people register for gifts they actually want rather then receiving something they dont.

Instrbook

Is a monthly subscription service which lets customers turn their Instagram and Facebook photos into a physical fun sized flip book. 

 

Funding details to date

Having already raised £55,000 in a seed round through CrowdCube (in January) we are now looking for lead investors, investing along side our current investors who can not only invest money but can help open doors and take this company to the multi million pound exit we know is possible.

We are looking to complete the SEIS round where we have £100,000 available. There will not be any overfunding available and we will close this round at exactly £100,000.

Since raising in January we have around £10,000 of sales, however our primary focus since then has been on development rather than sales. We decided to redevelop the concept from scratch and rebuild the entire concept from a new logo to new designs, new products, website and features. We believed in developing a solid infrastructure to support the product and website so we can aim for long term sustainable growth rather then short term superficial sales. We have now developed the concept to an advanced stage adding two new brands to the company allowing us to further tap into the gifting market and online print market.

Having completed all the development of VideoGram we now need money to roll this concept out into the mainstream market investing in marketing strategies that can allow for high volume sales and long term sustainability. 

The Market

The GCA Greeting Card Market Report 2014 reinforces what a huge and successful industry this is with £1.29 billion spent on single cards in the last year. More cards are bought per person in the UK than in any other country – 31 per person an astonishing 884 million single greeting cards were bought from retailers of all shapes and sizes in 2013.

The 2014 report covers value and volume figures for the sales of single cards across the main sending occasions in 2013 compared with 2012. It shows that value of the market has increased by 5.4%, with everyday cards at £1.02 billion compared to £0.96 billion in 2012, an increase of 6.1%.

Having three brands within the company puts us in a great position compared to other businesses;
For example; should we want to liquidate some of our assets we can sell one of our brands injecting cash in to the business.

Below is a more detailed description of the three brands and what we're all about.  

VideoGram Cards

Below is an example of a VideoGram card, customers are able to create a video through our website and upload it to the card. Our aim is to be selling between 500- 1000 of these cards a day and have a marketing strategy in place allowing us to do that within 6 months to a year. 

         

 

 

My MovieMaker

Our My MovieMaker software allows customers to create stunning videos within minutes by simply uploading their pictures and videos, choosing a theme, selecting a song and adding a title, our software will then create a stunning video for them. The video can then be uploaded to a videoGram card or linked to a QR card. This feature bridges the gap between people who want to send a video greeting card but dont have a video or know how to make a video. Similar to Moonpig the customisation of the content is done through our website and we can send the card directly to the recipient. 

VideoGram Menus

VideoGram Menus aim to provide high end restaurants with bespoke VideoGram Menus, working with them and putting in place agreements we will design and build custom made menus. We will produce and give the menus to them for free and then sell the advertising space within the menus to other brands. We are able to change and manage the videos from a centralised location and track the data offering the statistics to our clients. 

         

 

VideoGram sports licencing

We aim to licence our product to sports teams as merchandise to be sold in their stadiums or websites. 

          

VideoGram for businesses and invitations  

Using the same VideoGram technology we aim to target businesses and the wedding market by offering bespoke brochures and invitations in bulk quantities. We will customise the print and upload the videos to the cards ready to send out to their clients or wedding guests.   

 

QR greeting cards

From our website customers can create a card design or choose from our designs, generate a QR code and link it to a video. This card allows us to cater to the already existing market of online greeting cards where the average cost of a card is around £4- £8, keeping in line with our tag line of bringing print to life and adding the video element sets us apart from all the other competitors We have developed this whole concept and technology from scratch and believe we have something quite special here.  

         

 

 

 CrowdMyGift.com

Putting an end to unwanted gifts, CrowdMyGift.com allows customers to register a gift and share it with their friends and family. Their family can then start contributing towards a honeymoon of a life time or a specific birthday request. When contributing friends and family can leave comments on the page and see the progress. 

Our API allows retailers to integrate our software into their retail sites which lets customers register a gift directly from their favourite brands and retailers. 

         

CrowdMyGift is all about alternative gift solutions, and a pre paid gift card fits in well with our range of products. Our unique design and branding on the cards which come in a well presented envelop packaging allows the recipient to purchase anything they want anywhere in the world. 

Working with mastercard to fulfill the payment solutions, they are providing us with a full backend management system where we can track and manage the uploading of funds.  

         

CrowdMyGenerosity is our initiative to give back and make a difference. Unlike other charities our causes will be specific and researched. The funds will go directly to the cause or person who we feel has a compelling story and deserves our support. We will track the progress and keep donators updated on the progress of the cause using a message board and mail outs.

Our platform will be open to institutions, organisations and governments for their own initiatives but will only publish real causes having researched and believe it to be a compelling cause.    

 

InstrBook

Although still in its concept stage Instrbook will be the third and final brand in this company. The premise of Instrbook is to tap into the global explosion of social media photos where billions of photos are taken every year through Instagram and Facebook allowing customers to turn those photo into a physical flip book or posters. 

We will also be implementing a monthly subscription service where for a small monthly fee customers will receive a new book every moth consisting of around 20- 30 photos of their choice.
